Contest of children's works of arts is still going on.
UNHCR Office in Belarus announces a contest of children’s works of arts devoted to World Refugee Day.
For a number of years, the UNHCR Office in Belarus, Ministry of Education of Belarus and the Centre for Youth and Adolescents “Evrika” of the Frunzensky District of Minsk City have organized a contest of children’s works of arts devoted to World Refugee Day. The contest has become popular in the country, and the organizing committee has received over 1000 works every year. The best among the works have been exhibited in the National Museumon History and Culture. The winners of the contest were invited to Minskwhere they took part in activities devoted to World Refugee Day. The contest process was intensively publicished by the mass media.
This year’s nominations are:
- contest of children’s drawings and paintings “World without strangers”;
- contest of literature works “World without strangers”.
The contest of literature work includes two lines:
- a composition: your thoughts or story, 3 pages maximum;
- poetry.
The contest winners will be determined by the competent jury members.
The contest winners will be awarded prizes, gifts, diplomas and certificates and invited to the city of Minskto take part in the activities devoted to World Refugee Day.
