On 21 February 2020 INA "Evolutio" organized a meeting with the students of the Faculty of Social and Cultural Communications of BSU on the topic of refugees, forced migration and stateless persons. About 50 students took part in the meeting.

The event was held in the form of a presentation, during which students were able to familiarize themselves with relevant information on refugee issues, the activities of the UNHCR and the INA "Evolutio". In addition, all participants of the meeting had the opportunity to learn more about the Contest of Art Works “Refugees and Statelessness”, held by the INA "Evolutio" jointly with the UNHCR Office in the Republic of Belarus.

The opening speech was made by the Executive Director of the INA "Evolutio" Andrey Selivanov, who greeted all those present, outlined the problems and relevance of the topic under discussion, and opened the event.

Assistants of the INA "Evolutio" Dmitry Belko and Ekaterina Novitskaya spoke about the organization’s activities and the importance of tolerant attitude towards refugees and stateless persons.

The legal adviser of the Refugee Counseling Service Ekaterina Korobeyko made a presentation on the activities of UNHCR in the Republic of Belarus and on the problems faced by refugees and stateless persons around the world.

At the end of the event, the staff of the INA "Evolutio" presented in details Contest of Art Works “Refugees and Statelessness” and gladly answered all students' questions about it.
